With the project “Oldi Wheelchair” we want to make it possible to increase the inclusion of the more severely
disabled and non-ambulatory people in our social environment. The Trolley
Oldi is an innovation that changes the lives of those who can no longer
sit in conventional wheelchairs/chairs.
It allows them to feel the world around them again, to get some fresh air,
enjoy the sunlight, listen to birds singing and be in the company of
friends and relatives.
The “Oldi Trolley” project allows people to leave their room with a companion, for long
walks, attend events, games, concerts, ride the
train/commuter bus and much more. Persons using it,
can travel again, make new memories and friendships, and
become part of society in a whole new way. This innovation breaks down
stereotypes about older people and connects all generations to each other and to the world.
